Having their wedding in downtown Charleston, on the waterfront, the day after hurricane Helene... was nerve-wracking to say the least lol. But it turned out absolutely beautiful in every way.⁠

Wedding season has mostly died down for the summer. So I've been picking up extra candle work again - actually I have a whole other website/ig/fb for that side of things (@shayraecreative), so chances are if I'm quiet here, it just means I'm posting somewhere else. I've added a handful of new blogs to runawayphotographer.com too! Plus trying to upload a literal million photos to a new backup cloud, and getting the house spruced up for new renters in Sep - painting, landscaping, & a long-needed driveway expansion 😵‍💫 ...

Been really craving a break out in nature. I can't wait for the weather to cool down a bit - I'm already planning my next camping trip up in the mountains! 🏕
