Even in such an epic location as the #cliffsofmoher, I couldn't help but love all the romantic details that made Annie & Alex's elopement look. Her wildflower bouquet (and his tie to match!), a little glint of jewelry, the way everything was flowing together in the wind... pure magic 🫶

Still cannot believe this happened-- Irish luck se

Still cannot believe this happened-- Irish luck seriously pulled through 🍀 after a super rough day for me. I actually had a photoshoot planned for that morning in Galway, but the couple got into a fight the night before and canceled at the last second.
Then another photographer I met on the trip - who was supposed to be my ride from Galway to the Dark Hedges - also bailed because her boyfriend wanted to stay in Galway and party (valid, but... I still had to get to my Airbnb in Northern Ireland somehow by that night)...
I jumped the train alone and rode 8hrs, hoping I could still barely make the last stop in Ballymoney 😭🙏 After missing breakfast and finishing my last half-granola bar for lunch, of course I was STARVING by the time it arrived. I found my comfort food (Chinese) and a taxi. And the taxi tried to drop me off at the wrong house. Twice.
FINALLYY I made it to the right house, drowned my sadness in wonton soup while debating whether or not I still had enough energy to walk to Dark Hedges before sunset (it's probably packed with people, I could just go at sunrise instead, it had been a long, tiring, & disappointing day... but how often do I get to be in Ireland??) So I rallied up, packed my camera bag, and took a hike.
And the hedges road was completely EMPTY!! 🤩 at sunset - which, from what I hear, NEVER happens! For a few minutes, I had the entire place all to myself, and it was ✨️MAGICAL✨️
Then this cool crew arrives and starts shooting a video - I moved over to give them space and eventually got the nerve to say hello. And then this happened. IT WAS FATE. ❤️
